The Swingate Inn's location at the heart of the garden of England means there are many beautiful tourist attractions just a short drive away. We've listed a few below to help you plan your stay with us.

This lighthouse stands on the east cliff of Dover and can be reached by a short walk from the White Cliffs Visitor Centre at Langdon Cliffs. It was the spot that Marconi made his first morse transmission and the first place in Great Britain to receive the first dawn rays of the new millennium.

Dover Castle has stood guardian over Dover since the 12th century. It offers the visitor a wealth of experience ranging from medieval armour to the underground tunnels.

The Bronze Age Boat is the major exhibit at Dover's Museum in the Market Square.
