The ancient walled city of Canterbury is famous for it's Cathedral and shopping. It offers the greatest variety of shops in this part of Kent. The Cathedral has seen it's fair share of history from the murder of Thomas Beckett to the crowning of the Archbishop. You can wander around the old City wall which is remarkably preserved or take a boat trip on the river that flows through the ciy centre.

Leeds Castle is set in the lovely Kent Countryside near Maidstone. It has been called "The Loveliest Castle in the World" and, when seen from a hot air balloon, is quite picturesque. Once a Norman fortress and a royal residence, it is now open to the public all year long. This beautifully preserved example of a moat and bailey castle is a must to see.
